Whilst we may not be the cheapest, we believe in value for money. We are committed to provide up to date teaching methods by investing a proportion of each lesson into continual professional development.

We provide free theory test help through Theory Test Pro saving most people up to £25.00 if they purchased the books, we also give a copy of the highway code free on the 1st lesson saving a further £2.50.

We base our training on an average of 40 hours training so if you pay as you go this would cost you £880 based on £22 per hour for a two hour lesson in a manual car. You may find a cheaper option costing you more in the long run. As an example someone charging £19.50 per hour may say you require 50 hours training this will cost you £975 an extra £95 plus an extra 5 weeks before you take your test so cheap is not always best.

We give milestone incentives like a free lesson when you pass the theory test with a certain time limit worth up to £25, Free 2 hour lesson to be used on the day of the test worth up to £50.

We also offer a Pass Promise. So long as you have followed the advice of the Instructor but you do not pass either the Theory or Practical test 1st time we will pay for your next one this is only available with our Pass Promise package but it is worth over £90.

Incentives including Cash-back and vouchers when you introduce your friends to learn with us (subject to terms and conditions)

Prices guaranteed not to increase throughout your training (subject to terms and conditions).

You should take into consideration the actual time spent driving on a lesson, after the 1st lesson on average you will be driving for 45 mins per hour with us.

We are governed by the Driving Standards Agency and are regularly checked to make sure we are providing a good level of training for our pupils.

A fully qualified ADI must display a green certificate on the windscreen of the car while teaching you. Some trainee driving instructors are granted a licence so they can gain experience before their qualifying examination. In this case, the trainee driving instructor must display a pink certificate on the windscreen.
DSA is responsible for maintaining and checking the standards of all ADIs, who to qualify must:
  • be registered with the DSA
  • have passed a criminal record check
  • pass a much tougher theory and practical driving test
  • display an ADI identification certificate on the windscreen of the tuition vehicle
  • maintain a high standard of instruction - the standard is regularly checked by the DSA

Why choose a DIA member? All DIA members have signed the DIA code of conduct. This should give you peace of mind that you are choosing an instructor who operates their business to a professional standard. In addition to the Code of Conduct, your instructor should make you aware of their business terms and conditions. Make sure you read them thoroughly and ask any questions you may have before you sign; always ask for your own copy. Terms and conditions are important as they make clear how the business operates and what is expected of both ADI and pupil. Our Find a driving instructor only lists qualified ADIs who have signed the Code of Conduct.

How do you choose a really good driving instructor? It's not easy with so many instructors to choose from, and we all know that the cheapest doesn't necessarily mean the best.
